This week was a very welcome change to the crazy life I have become accustomed to in the past 2 months and 10 days, I have been pretty much sprinting non stop since Ive been here, which is definitely a good thing. Ive had a lot of fun and seen a lot of amazing places. However, it is very nice to just do nothing every once in a while. on Monday I did just that, I had a pretty great day kinda just sitting around and being not anywhere near productive at anything, it was great.
Tuesday was a little different story. Tuesday in the morning I went for a run, mostly just because I wanted to explore some more and take more pictures. Then, after I had gotten back from my run I cleaned up and changed and my host grandpa asked if I wanted to go to a bird show. I said to myself, "Meh, why not?" so we went to a bird show and got some awesome pictures. Then for dinner that night we went into town to get burgers, they were awesome!! I also got to try Blackberry juice for the first time, it was really good and it was made on Samsø. Solbær= Blackberry
Wednesday was the last day Caroline and I spent on Samsø. We went to a beach on the eastern part of the island, and took the ferry home at about 16:00. Samsø was a lot of fun, but I was ready to go home. Thursday was mostly homework, but I also went to the forest with my host mom Heidi, and two of our dogs: Big Ben, and Ramses(pictured below). Big Ben is the youngest of the 3 basset hounds I live with.
Friday was a really really good day, my host family and I all went back to the cliffs that most of us had visited a few weeks prior, but this time we didn't hike down the cliffs, we went to the Geocenter instead because it was raining. That was really cool. Then, that night I spent the night at my friend Nick's house, we played video games and talked with friends until 4 in the morning, that was so much fun, especially it had been so long since I actually got to play video games. I stayed at his house until like 15:00, then I went home. Sunday was pretty much all homework.
Tuesday: Run + (Nice Camera+ Birds)
Wednesday: Last Day on Samsø
Thursday: Tracking with Ramses and Big Ben
Friday: Back to Those Cliffs, but into the Museum Instead
