Week 11: First Week Back from Break and Hit the Ground Running(moving)

Month 2 Week 2: Oct 19-25
This week was particularly challenging, the days coming back from a break always suck. Mondays are always especially hard because I have a pretty full schedule on Mondays, and this Monday I had to give my presentation about myself. I'll provide a link to my Prezi Presentation below. This experience was a lot of fun. It was also really cool that all of my host families could come, by the way, I have all 3 now. :)  I cant wait to be able to give it completely in Danish, and look forward to giving a presentation to my rotary club at home when I get home. :)  Tuesday and Wednesday were pretty normal, just school and homework and packing again, packing really is just annoying.
Thursday was fun because I had track, but no one showed up, so I just ran on my own, and ran to the rowing club to check out when they have rowing practice. Rowing crew seems like fun. Friday was pretty good, I packed up the rest of my stuff from my first host family, and we had the most amazing dinner, we had hot dogs covered in bacon with cheese and onions and condiments :) it was amazing. :) Friday was my last full day with my first host family, it has gone so so fast, I am so so thankful that they were my first host family.  :) It may not have been smooth the whole way, but they were the reason this transition was so easy for me, Thank you so much Jan, Heidi, Caroline, Fredrik, Ramses, and Big Ben for opening your arms to me and allowing me to become part of your family. It was so much fun, and I'll be sure to visit and come balk and visit. Thank you so much :) I'll miss you guys.
Saturday was exciting and a little depressing at the same time, at about 10:30 I started riding my bike from my first host families house to my new host families house with my big backpack full of stuff. I met my first host parents at my new house with the rest of my stuff and moved it all up to my new room. Then we all(my first and second host parents, and me) had coffeecake and drinks. Then When they left I went and got settled into my new room and acquainted myself with the house. Then almost immediately after that I set up my desk and turned on the PlayStation 3 that came with the new room. ;P  Then later that day I met my new host sister who was just back for the weekend from boarding school for a year. Sunday was pretty much just homework and settling in, and then we went to my host cousin's 6th birthday party, which definitely reminded me of home, she reminded me so much of my little sister Samantha, but with blonde hair. That was a lot of fun. :)

So that was my week, sorry there aren't as many pictures this week, and as always if you ever have any questions feel free to e-mail(hagemanmasonrye@gmail.com) or message me on Facebook. Also it would be really cool to receive letters from home to just hear how you guys are doing. :) So if you feel like doing that just ask for my address.  :)  I miss you all, and thanks for being interested :)

I miss you all very much, especially my family, my friends in school, and definitely my girlfriend Kate. I know I may try to make this seem easy, but its very far from that. I definitely am having a lot of fun, but there are always rough spots and times alone when I miss home. During one of the rotary conferences I went to last year one of the coordinators told all of us outgoing exchange students: "This exchange is the hardest job that you will ever love," He was right. This is hard but I am loving it. I'm just glad I have the chance to share this experience. Thank you for all of your support.
