So, my second week in Denmark is coming to a close, I cant believe that its already been 2 weeks. It feels like I still just said goodbye to my family and Kate in the airport. It has been a pretty action packed week this week, I went to Copenhagen twice this week, on Thursday and Friday. Thursday I went to finally get my social security number so that I could get a Danish bank account instead of having to carry around all of my cash. Also getting social security means that I am covered by the Danish health care too, so that's always good. I also finally met with my youth exchange coordinator this week. I'm so excited!! He told me that I am allowed to travel outside of Denmark by myself. :) I have started to plan to go see former exchange students in Germany and Sweden, along with a friend in Germany who I haven't seen in forever. I'm really excited for the months to come.
Today was the first day of Denmark Rotary Intro Camp. Today I traveled to the centre of the main land of Denmark, it was only like 4 hours. Throughout the day more and more busses full of exchange students came, when they had all arrived there were almost 200 of us in total. In the coming week we are all going to attempt to learn the Danish language. This week is going to be so wild, thats what happens when 200 of the worlds most outgoing teens get together and hang out. This should be a very entertaining week. Im looking forward to posting all about it next week.
As always here are the pictures from this week.
